Amazon introduced a new feature focusing on giving a more immersive conversation experience for kids using Explore with Alexa.

Amazon's Explore with Alexa
According to Amazon's data, kids ask more than 25 million questions per month. Oftentimes, these kids ask for entertainment that are suited for their age such as bedtime stories, jokes, or animal trivia. Kids' curiosities are limitless and Amazon was ready to cater it with a new service.
Explore with Alexa will be a new exclusive addition to the Amazon Kids+ content service that aims to provide a kid-friendly chat with Alexa. With this new feature, Alexa will answer kids' inquiries in a manner that the kids will understand, a simplified and entertaining answer.
Amazon revealed that the facts and trivia will be coming from World Wildlife Fund and A-Z Animals. With the help of generative AI, Alexa will be able to provide content faster along with the Amazon Kids' team.
Explore with Alexa's Release
The new feature is expected to launch on Amazon Kids+ before the holidays. Other than exploring topics, Amazon will also add video content and other ways so that adults can customize their kids' experiences.
"Since we launched Alexa for Kids five years ago, we've learned so much about how kids interact with Alexa, what they ask, and how we can provide interesting and relevant content that kids love and parents trust," Amazon wrote.
Meanwhile, Amazon also launched other devices that are specifically made for kids such as the Echo Pop Kids and the Fire HD 10 Kids series.
