Google Celebrates 25th Birthday with Special Doodle, Search Surprises

Google released a homepage special doodle and some special surprises as the company marked its 25 years of service today.

Google's Special Doodle and Surprise 

Google is known for featuring doodles from various artists as a way of commemorating important events. This year, Google had a trip down to memory lane as the company features the evolution of Google's logos over the two decades. 

"From all of us at Google, thanks for an amazing 25 years. Here's to many more years of curiosity," Google wrote on a post.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai also reflected on the greatest achievements and challenges faced by the company over the years. The CEO also shared his thoughts on the company's move towards AI and how other opportunities will let the company do things in a much bigger scale. 

"It's a huge privilege to reach this milestone, made possible by the people who use our products and challenge us to keep innovating, the hundreds of thousands of Googlers past and present who have given their talents to building those products, and our partners who believe in our mission as much as we do," Pichai wrote

Google's 25 Years of History 

Although Google was originally founded on September 4, the company picked September 27 as its birthday after setting the idea that they will have a tradition to commemorate its birthday. On some other years, the birthday celebration of Google still changed and fortunately, the company has already settled the date. 

Google Search was launched 25 years ago with mission to help people on their everyday queries. From cutting a pineapple to navigating a business, all of these questions were answered by Google for 25 years. 

Over the years, Google has proven to be an efficient tool for many people as the company now not only offers a search service but also various tools that are useful in the workplace. Despite celebrating a quarter of a century in service, Google remains positive that there are still things to look forward into such as AI.
