Even though the holiday season is winding down, Best Buy is still in the mood and is offering the iPhone 5s for $124.99 and iPhone 5c for free with a new 2-year contract.
Ever since Apple released both its flagship iPhone 5s and colorful iPhone 5c in September, the two smartphones have been extremely popular devices. The two handsets have made it in the top three slots in smartphones sold by AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile for the last three months. If you have been waiting to get a great deal on either the iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c, Best Buy has slashed the price of both smartphones and is offering them for considerably less than Apple or the four major carriers.
Best Buy is now selling the 16GB iPhone 5c for the very low price of $0. Of course that price requires signing a new 2-year contract, but is significantly less than its normal $99.99 2-year contract price. The iPhone 5c is the first iPhone to bring fun and bright colors to the usual white or black iPhones of the past. Customers can choose an iPhone 5c in white, green, pink, yellow, or blue. The smartphone has a strong steel frame inside and a polycarbonate case to make the handset more durable. It's packing a 4-inch Retina display and a snappy A6 processor. It's also sporting an 8-megapixel iSight rear camera that can record 1080p HD video and a front facing FaceTime HD camera for video calls and selfies.
The iPhone 5s is Apple's flagship smartphone and while it might look very similar to last year's iPhone 5, its internals have been upgraded and Apple has added a significant new feature. The company's new Touch ID fingerprint scanner is built into the Home button and allows you to unlock the smartphone by scanning your fingerprint for additional security. Touch ID also allows you to use your fingerprint when buying apps, music, books, and more, instead of having to type in your iTunes password. The iPhone 5s is also the first smartphone to be powered by a very powerful 64-bit A7 processor and it also includes an M7 coprocessor that detects motion and conserves power. It's packing an 8-megapixel iSight camera and a front-facing FaceTime HD camera. The smartphone comes in three color options - Gold, Silver, and Space Gray - and includes 16GB of internal storage. Best Buy is offering the iPhone 5s for $124.99 when signing a new 2-year contract.
Best Buy does not indicate for how long it will be offering the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s at these low prices, so if you're thinking about scoring one, you may want to do it sooner rather than later.
