What's New With Leica Sofort 2

The Leica Sofort 2 embraced the best of both worlds from digital to analogue. Photos can be uploaded to social media easily using the Leica Fotos app. In addition, users can print images taken from the smartphone or other Leica cameras using the app as well.

"This dynamic connection between camera and FOTOS app bridges the gap between instant film photography and the digital world, making the Leica SOFORT 2 a versatile companion for modern-day creators," Leica wrote in a blog post.

The next-generation camera has a variety of creative twists. It offers 10 Filmstyles and 10 Lensstyles options which would help in finding the right mood between each picture. The Filmstyles are preset filters that could easily create nostalgia or even elegance to the photos. Meanwhile, the Lensstyles come with different effects like fisheye, macro, and double exposure.

Leica Sofort 2 Release

Aside from the camera itself, Leica also released accessories that would perfectly match the Sofort 2. This includes film packs, magnet frames, picture frames, and straps which are all made for Sofort devices only.

The Leica Sofort 2 comes in three colors: red, black, and white, and will be available via online, physical stores, and retailers by November 9.
