Anthropic's Claude AI chatbot does more than conversation as it can also summarize long pages of PDFs.

Claude AI's Capabilities
According to Anthropic, Claude is designed to maintain a wide variety of conversations. In addition, the AI assistant is also capable of text-processing tasks such as collaborative writing, coding, summarization, and more.
Claude allows its users to upload various formats of files such as PDFs, DOCX, CSV, and TXT directly on the chatbox. To use the feature, a simple prompt of "Summarize PDF" will give the user a clear and concise summary of the file. However, the free version of Claude can only process less than 10MB of files and is limited to only five summaries every four hours.
The company reported that early customers of Claude stated that the chatbot is "more steerable" making it easier to generate the desired output with less effort. Most importantly, it can adapt the generated answers based on the user's personality, tone, and behavior.
Anthropic Opens Claude's Versions
Currently, the company offers two versions of the chatbot AI assistant: Claude and Claude Instant.
Claude is the best fit for customers who are aiming to get assistance on a variety of tasks. These include coding, detailed content creation, complex reason, and more. On the other hand, Claude Instant is a faster yet cheaper model that is helpful for lightweight dialogue, text analysis, and document comprehension.
While Anthropic's chatbot is mostly trained in English, customers can still try to prompt it using other common languages. The chatbot also has extensive knowledge of common programming languages which can aid assistance to beginner programmers.
