8 Days Gone Mods That’ll Make Your Gameplay Easier

The zombie game is on sale for the Black Friday discount event on Steam, which means that you might've gotten the game for yourself. If you're looking for ways to modify the game through mods, here are some that will make your gameplay easier and more enjoyable.

1. Infinite Ammo

Since it is a zombie apocalypse, everything is scarce including ammunition. You'll need a lot of it if you plan on surviving or at least reducing your deaths in the game. Although you can easily find ammo lying around, you'll still feel more assured knowing that you won't run out of bullets while being chased by enemies.

2. Sturdy Melee Weapons

Unlike melee weapons in most games, the ones you pick up or craft in the game only have a few hits in them before they break. That means that you'll have to look around for a good weapon again that can be used better than your knife. This mod eliminates that factor, making your melee weapon unbreakable.

3. Better Stamina

You're going to need a lot of stamina when you're running to your objectives or running away from enemies. However, Deacon's stamina bar depletes quickly, making it hard to move faster continuously. With this mod, you'll get a healthier character who can run and dodge more.

4. Durable Suppressors

You will need suppressors on eligible guns if you want to kill zombies without drawing attention to yourself. Crossbows are great alternatives, but ammo for that is even harder to come by. With the unbreakable suppressor mod, you won't have to worry about the one attached to your gun anymore.

5. Crafting Creates More

Like all looter games, you need to find the right components to craft certain items. You usually find them in your environment, but since it's a post-apocalyptic world, they don't always come by easily. With this mod, you can create twice, thrice, or 999 more items with the same amount of supplies for one.

6. Bikes With No Repair Needs

Days Gone doesn't have the smoothest controls when it comes to Deacon's bike, which is why you'll likely hit a few things on the way and damage your motorcycle. You only get one vehicle in the game, meaning that you have to make repairs to keep it running. With this mod, you won't need to.

7. Slower Horde

When you find yourself being chased by a large group of zombies, you'll be thankful that you have this mod. If you don't have the stamina mod, that means that you can't run far enough to get rid of the zombies from a distance. This mod makes the hordes run slower so you can easily escape them when you need to.

8. Faster Unlocking for Cars

As you find yourself near abandoned cars, you actually have the option to open them to find resources. Some may have ammo, med kits, and scraps, which you'll also need for repairing weapons once you unlock that ability. It takes a while to open trunks and hoods. But this mod fixes that.
