One of the main eye-catchers in the new update is the introduction of streamlined navigation bars to help users explore videos more easily.

The navigation bars can be found on top and bottom of the screen "for easy access to your favorite features and tabs."

To solve the large screen problem of iPads, TikTok rolled out two upgrades to make it usable at any angle and position.

The first is a refined video feed and enhanced clarity to retain the video's appearance even on a larger screen. The second is a support for landscape and portrait orientation so that the app can work no matter "how you hold your device."

The social media site also vowed to "continue experimenting" with its trial features, such as Topic Feeds.

The feature allows users to customize their video feeds based on selected categories, including Gaming, Food, Fashion, Sports, and many more.

TikTok Improves User Experience on Apple Products

The social media platform has been rolling out upgrades on Apple products over the past months as more people access the app on the device.

Last July, TikTok added support features for iOS users so they can sign in on the app via Face ID or Touch ID.

On the other hand, Instagram's iPad app remains barely usable being a ported version from its iPhone app.
