Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on sale for $192.49

You can now purchase the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for $192.49 from Amazon instead of its current $249.99 carrier pricing.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is Samsung's current flagship phablet offering. The device successfully blurs the line between a smartphone and small tablet and is perfect for anyone looking to converge both of those devices. The Note 3 picks up where the Note 2 left off and provides a larger display, a more powerful processor and advanced S Pen functionality in a device that's only slightly taller than the 5.5-inch Note 2 and is noticeably thinner and lighter than its predecessor.

The Note 3 also ships with some new S Pen functionality. Some of its new tricks include Air Command, a feature that allows you easily access a palette of useful S Pen commands to make performing tasks faster and easier. Hovering the stylus over images, messages, videos, and more will provide you with an instant preview, saving you time from having to open up a separate application. Action Memo allows you to quickly write notes anywhere on the Note 3 and will even add new phone numbers to your contacts automatically. Another useful feature is Screen Write, which makes it super easy to capture screenshots and add annotations that you can save for yourself or share with others. Those are just a few of the new S Pen enhancements Samsung has included with the Galaxy Note 3.

You can now order the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for a nice savings over the carrier's $249.99 asking price online and in stores. Amazon is offering the same phablet for $192.49 when signing a new 2-year contract.

As a reminder, the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a 5.7-inch 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 386 pixels per inch (ppi). It includes 32GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that will support up to 64GB microSD cards. The Note 3 ships with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (Android 4.4 KitKat is expected soon) and Samsung TouchWiz Nature UX. It's powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit (GPU), and 3GB of RAM.

Samsung has also packed in a high-end 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and selfies. The phablet's wireless connectivity options consist of a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. The Note 3 further ships with a large 3,200 mAh removable battery that Verizon claims will provide up to 24 hours of continuous usage. A new faux-leather back plate, meanwhile, gives the Note 3 a more premium feel.

If you're interested in purchasing the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for $192.49 when signing a new 2-year contract, head over to Amazon. The price also includes free two-day shipping.
