January 2024

If you intend to get the latest games right away, then you might want to prepare your wallet for the upcoming titles. Even in just the first month, you'll already have your pick of the lineup with both new games and continuation of franchises.

The first to be released will be Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on January 18th. It will serve as the second game in the franchise by Ubisoft, which follows the first game, Price of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, released more than a decade ago.

If you're a fan of The Last of Us franchise, you might be interested in the remastered version of the sequel that's set to be released this January 19th. It's a PS exclusive just like the previous previous. The good news is that if you already own The Last of Us Part II, you can just upgrade it for $10.

Tekken 8 is also slated to be released on January 26th, even coming in with different editions that offer various perks. The priciest one is the Premium Collector's Edition, which will buy you avatar costumes, a one-year pass for a playable character, an LED-lit figurine, and much more.

As per Kotaku, SEGA will release the latest title to the continuing Dragon series titled: Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. It serves as the ninth main game in the series and is a sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon, which was released in 2020.

February 2024

If you feel like January was already packed, then February is even more so. So far, there are 12 official release dates, a lot of which come from major franchises from Nintendo, Lucasfilm Games LLC, Rocksteady Studios, and more.

One that's worth waiting for is the Persona 3 Reload, which will be launched on February 2nd. The reload will still be the same RPG game Persona fans have come to love, but it will come with better graphics that work well with the latest consoles and PCs.

On the same day, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will also come out. The game will feature familiar characters you may have seen in the animated movie "Batman: Assault on Arkham" like Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark.

Helldivers 2 will be released this February 8th, which is the sequel of the highly-rated game for the PS3 and PS4. The second game's perspective will now be behind the shoulder of the playable character which is becoming more common with FPS games.

Coming in with another remake, Nintendo will be releasing Mario Vs. Donkey Kong again for the Nintendo Switch this February 16th. It will have enhanced graphics, as do all remakes and remasters, and will feature co-op multiplayer.

Lastly, the end of the month will bring us Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which is the sequel to the 2020 release of Final Fantasy VII Remake. The developers intend to complete the trilogy from the 1997 games, so you can expect another one to drop a little while after the sequel.
