Twitch updated its Partner Plus Program by expanding it and giving more streamers access to increased net revenue, eliminating the $100K cap for net revenue, and changing the Prime Gaming subscription model.
Partner Plus will be renamed as Plus Program starting May 1 but the qualification will start on February 1.

Twitch Upgrades Partner Plus With Affiliates
Last year, Twitch introduced the Partner Plus Program to give streamers an improved net revenue share on paid and gifted subs based on criteria. Since then, thousands of streamers have qualified for it.
To qualify for 60/40 net revenue, streamers must have maintained 100 Plus points for three consecutive months. On the other hand, the 70/30 revenue will be given to those with 300 Plus points instead of 350.
Lastly, Twitch announced that affiliates can now qualify. "With the lower thresholds, more Affiliates can qualify, and they deserve to be rewarded for the support of their communities," the company wrote.
Twitch Eliminates $100K cap, Changes Prime Gaming Model
In addition, Twitch is also removing the $100K cap on net revenue at the 70/30 revenue share level, including those in the program. According to the company, they received feedback that the previous policy limited the growth opportunities for streamers.
On the other hand, the Prime Gaming subscription is transitioning to a fixed rate model subs based on the country of the subscriber. Twitch acknowledged that there will be differences but it will only be a portion of streamers' overall revenue.
"We believe this is the right structure for the program going forward and are making this change to ensure that the monthly Twitch subscription available to Prime members is a long-term, sustainable benefit for the Twitch community," the company explained.
The $100K cap removal is effective immediately. Meanwhile, the fixed rate model for Prime Gaming subs will start its effectivity on June 3. Twitch has also published the rates.
