From dramas to comedies, Hulu's original series have shown consistency in raising the bar for quality shows. Some of its homegrown titles garnered the attention of Peabody Awards, Primetime Emmys, and Golden Globes.

'The Handmaid's Tale'

"The Handmaid's Tale" is a dystopian drama series that is based on Margaret Atwood's popular novel of the same name. The show quickly gained widespread fame due to its portrayal of thought-provoking themes and the accurate depiction of a totalitarian society. 

The show won multiple accolades from the Primetime Emmy Awards, Golden Globes Awards, Critics' Choice Television Awards, and Screen Actors Guild Awards. The production was well-lauded for its screenplay, the actors' performance, and the overall quality of the show. 

'The Bear'

"The Bear" is a comedy-drama series that is set in Chicago. The story follows the award-winning chef, Carmy Berzatto, as he inherits his late brother's sandwich shop and tries to get along with the people in the kitchen. 

The show is nowhere near stopping after winning 10 Primetime Emmy Awards for its first season. For the second season, the series got four Golden Globe Awards and six awards from the Emmys again. "The Bear" is currently working on its third season. 

'Little Fires Everywhere'

Another adaptation from a novel of the same name, the series is set in the late 1990s and is known for tackling themes of motherhood, race, and identity. 

"Little Fires Everywhere" was nominated several times in the Emmys but failed to score any major awards. Still, both Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington gained praise for their performances. 

'UnREAL'

"UnREAL" is a drama series that originally aired on Lifetime before it transferred to Hulu. The show offers a sneak peek at the production of a fictional reality dating show called "Everlasting." 

During its first season, "UnREAL" became a standout series and won the prestigious Peabody Award. It also became listed as one of the best shows among publications like Variety, Hollywood Reporter, and more. It also received a couple of Emmy nominations.  

'The Looming Tower'

"The Looming Tower" is based on an award-winning material as well. It was from Lawrence Wright's Pulitzer Prize-winning non-fiction book. The series was a detailed account of the incidents leading to the 9/11 attacks. 

The show quickly gained the attention of the critics for its meticulous attention to detail and powerful performances of the actors. The series was awarded two Emmys for Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Sound Editing for a Limited Series.
