The HTC Desire 610 mid-range smartphone is now available for pre-order in the UK, set to launch early next month on Clove.
HTC announced its Desire 610 handset back at the Mobile World Congress 2014 in February, and the device is finally ready to make its commercial debut soon.
For those unfamiliar with the smartphone, the new HTC Desire 610 sports a 4.7-inch display with a qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood, clocked at 1.2GHz and paired with Adreno 305 graphics and 1GB of RAM. Other specs include 8GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot for additional memory of up to 64GB, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, auto focus, face detection, Geo tagging, HDR, and Touch focus, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter for video calls.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 4G LTE support in the UK and Europe, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and a microUSB port. The handset comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on board, as well as HTC Sense 5.5. In terms of appearance, the smartphone borrows design cues from the HTC One family, boasting dual front speakers. The handset also comes with popular features such as BoomSound and HTC Zoe.
"The Desire 610 is a great choice if you're looking for a simple yet stylish handset that has the feature set of a more expensive device," Clove UK recently touted in a company blog post.
The HTC Desire 610 comes in three color options - white, navy blue, and red. Clove UK is now taking paid orders for the navy blue variant, offering the SIM-free smartphone for £235, with stock due in early May. The white model, meanwhile, is still on pre-order for now, with no payment taken at this point. Lastly, customers who want the red version of the smartphone can register their interest in this model. Clove has yet to confirm the arrival date of the white and red versions of the HTC Desire 610.
