Critical Role Establishes Beacon as Exclusive Service

In a blog post, Critical Role shared that Beacon is a special membership service and an all-in-one home for everything under production. Members will receive event presales, discounts, and a private Discord invitation.

Moreover, the platform provides a complete ad-free experience along with early access to content like "The Re-Slayer's Take," "Midst," and "Critical Role Abridged." The podcast show will also be uploaded to the site after it aired on its initial broadcast.

"Nothing changes with how you can watch or listen to our content currently - we'll continue to be on Twitch, YouTube, and podcast platforms as usual. As an independent company, Beacon allows us the flexibility to create special perks, stay better connected with you all, and provide you with a better unfiltered experience," the company wrote.

Beacon Offers Free Trial, Exclusive Membership With Perks

Beacon is now available on PC, Android, and iPad devices. The iOS app will soon be available. However, the Pocket Beacon app is currently unavailable for membership signup.

As for the pricing, the streaming service offers a seven-day free trial. The free trial offers limited content and does not include live event presales or merch discounts.

All the content on the site is tagged with Free and Member to guide new users which are included upon availing the free trial. Once the member signs up for the subscription the exclusive content will be unlocked.

The Beacon membership costs $5.99 per month or $59.99 a year.
