Oura Ring, Samsung's closet competition for smart rings, offers its device from $299 up to $550, depending on the style. Aside from the price range, Samsung might also add a monthly subscription that could cost around $10 a month. Oura has a $5.99 per month subscription for its Ring.

The wearable device will be offered in different colors like silver, gold, and black. Samsung has yet to clarify whether the style will affect the price point.

Samsung Galaxy Ring to Expand Company's Wearable Portfolio

Samsung has been competing with big companies like Apple for its smartwatches. The addition of Galaxy Ring to its portfolio opens new opportunities for another competition.

"Galaxy Ring is being unveiled as a new health form factor in our wearable portfolio that simplifies everyday wellness, supporting smarter and healthier living via a more connected digital wellness platform," the company shared during the MWC 2024.

Samsung has yet to reveal specific details about the Ring, along with the confirmation if a subscription will be required for its users. The company has been getting positive feedback for offering a help app on its watches without additional cost.

The Galaxy Unpacked event in July is expected to unveil next-generation watches, foldables, and other accessories.
