The purported Samsung Galaxy F has leaked yet again over the weekend, this time showing its metal body in a "perfect golden" hue.
The Samsung Galaxy F, previously referred to as the Galaxy S5 Prime, has leaked extensively as of late. The handset is expected to debut as a more premium version of the current Galaxy S5 flagship, finally boasting a metal design and some slightly improved specifications.
While nothing is official at this point, the rumor mill nonetheless keeps churning and the Galaxy F powerhouse now stars in a new leak, showing the device in a gold color option.
Ever since Apple launched its iPhone 5S in a champagne gold hue, gold has become the most popular color option for high-end smartphones. Others have followed suit and launched their flagships in a gold paint job, including Samsung with its Galaxy S5. In such a context, a gold-hued Galaxy F would make perfect sense.
The image above, showing the purported Galaxy F in "perfect golden," comes from none other than well-known and trusted tipster @evleaks. The source has an excellent track record when it comes to accurate leaks, so this image may turn out to be the real deal.

The newly-leaked image falls in line with previous leaks, showing the device with an incredibly thin bezel around the display, as well as a premium brushed metal design instead of Samsung's notorious polycarbonate choices.
The tipster offered no additional information, but previous leaks painted a pretty clear picture of what we can expect from this Samsung Galaxy F powerhouse. The premium version of the Galaxy S5 is rummored to come with a slightly larger display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, and other slight improvements. Due to the ultra-tin bezel, the difference in display size compared to the original Galaxy S5 is barely noticeable.
When it comes to launch, the purported Samsung Galaxy F is now expected to make its debut at the IFA 2014 trade show in September, which sounds like a reasonable theory. With nothing officially confirmed, however, it's highly recommended to take all these leaks, rumors and reports with a hefty grain of salt.
