LG G3 Stylus en route to challenge the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (VIDEO)

An LG G3 Stylus variant is apparently ready to make its debut soon, as the model just appeared in a new promotional video from the company.

LG has not formally announced such a version yet, but a new advertisement for the LG G3 Beat leaves little room for interpretation. While the ad focuses on the G3 Beat and its functions, three models appear at the end of the video: the original LG G3, the recently-launched LG G3 Beat, and the unannounced LG G3 Stylus.

The upcoming phablet is expected to give some stiff competition to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which is expected to debut at a pre-IFA 2014 event on Sept. 3. The new video gives the world a first glimpse at the new LG G3 Stylus, but doesn't mention any details.

As the name itself suggests, the upcoming phablet features a stylus, but it doesn't seem to have the laser autofocus technology of the original LG G3. The new variant also appears to have a single LED flash for its camera, which means that LG had to cut some corners to make room for the stylus.

Nevertheless, the LG G3 Stylus is still expected to come with high-end specs and features on board, as well as the impressive display found on the original model. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is also expected to boast a QHD display, and LG would most likely not compromise the 2K resolution that drew so much attention to its LG G3.

No specific details are currently available regarding the specs and features of this LG G3 Stylus device, but the new model definitely looks bigger than the original LG G3. Based on this video, the LG G3 Stylus may come with a 6-inch display.

It remains unclear at this point just when LG plans to unveil this new LG G3 Stylus, but it shouldn't be too long now considering that it already featured the device in a promotional video. We'll make sure to tell you all about it as soon as we learn more. In the meantime, check out LG's new advertisement below to see the LG G Stylus next to the LG G3 Beat and the original G3.
