Apple Watch Said To Bring More Satisfaction Than iPhones

'If we take a look at how the Apple Watch customer satisfaction rating compares to the first generation of the iPad and the iPhone, we see the Apple Watch has the highest customer satisfaction rating of any previous version one Apple product."

This is what the Apple team wrote on the company's official blog after a recent study has shown that the smartwatch has garnered a 97% satisfaction rate from users. The company has yet to release figures regarding the product's sales, but the impressive showing in satisfaction levels may reveal equally impressive sales figures soon, despite many critics branding it a flop.

The survey was conducted by tech company Wristly, along with analyst Jim Bajarin. Owners of the Apple Watch were canvased. The study was done ahead of Apple's own research regarding its products' customer satisfaction ratings. The $249 device has garnered a satisfaction rate higher than any of Apple's iPhone models, and is close to the newest smartphone the company has released.

Wristly and Bajarin noted in The Daily Mail that the watch has its critics, in more tech savvy groups of people. Bajarin said he listened to different groups talk about the apple watch, and saw that IT workers who own them tend to nitpick on the product more. Those who are not involved in tech fields and don't work IT jobs gave responses that are in stark contrast with the other group.

"These groups of people couldn't stop raving about the Apple Watch and how much they loved the product. It was almost as if the farther away people were from tech or the tech industry, the more they liked the Apple Watch." Bajarin said.

Regular consumers take to the gadget immediately, raving about its portability and how it can be used easily. They have contributed largely to the device's high ratings. The iPhone comes in second with 92%, whereas the iPad has 91%.

Since its release, Apple has not released sales figures of the Apple Watch. Some say it may have been a flop, estimating a 3 million-unit sale. Bajarin puts the figure above 4 million, which does not look that bad. The device is not even a year old, and limited units have been sold online only.
