TellTale Game’s 'The Walking Dead' Turns Gamers Into Analysts

Has anyone been hooked up in a game that he/she is playing? Definitely, a gamer is always hooked up in the game that he/she plays. Needless to say that every gamer uses his/her emotions and intuition as the game progresses. Games that encourage the gamer to think decisively right there and then are best to test someone's decision-making. How would someone make a decision if choice A lets him/her save his/her friend leaving the other choice to be devoured by zombies? Well, it is a tough call of a situation.

According to a post via ALPHR, TellTale Game's "The Walking Dead" turns gamers into armchair philosophers. What does this mean? Well, it simply means that the game provides opportunities for the gamers to use critical thinking for them to select the best possible choice there is for the situation. If the choice takes a lot of the character to survive, then the gamer for sure selects the choice. However, it is not an easy choice. There may also be a time wherein the gamer is given the choice to save others at the same time survive while letting some group of characters be killed by teeming zombies. The gamer has to make urgent decision for that matter.

According to a post via Financial Post, the latest "The Walking Dead" episode that is "The Walking Dead: Michonne" gets better as the episode goes. This episode ends up entertaining, if not quite as satisfying, addition to Telltale's evolving series of game episodes. It provides more of the same action and difficult decision-making. However, the fans still love the idea.

So, does that make the gamer a philosopher already? The answer is --Maybe not. But the fact is it makes the gamers think critically. By this, they make decisions depending on the call of survival and duty that the character has to make.
