Ubisoft Released 'Tom Clancy's The Division' Update 1.3 On PlayStation 4; Patch Introduces New Weapons, Gears And More!

It is no late night news that "Tom Clancy's The Division" has been experiencing a number of bugs and issues recently. In hopes to resolve the situation, Ubisoft unleashed a new update, arriving finally on the PlayStation 4 platform. Take note, the studio claims it to be one of the biggest updates for the title, bringing vast improvements and features.

According to Ecumenical News, a new "Tom Clancy's The Division" update - version 1.3 - has arrived. Although it has taken a little bit of time, Ubisoft has finally made it available for the PlayStation 4. One of the update's headlines is the new set of weapons specifically for the Agents.

Thanks to patch 1.3, "Tom Clancy's The Division" players now have the opportunity to access a total of nine new weapon types. From X-45 and First Wave X-45 pistols to PP-19 and Enhanced PP-19 submachine weaponry to Paratrooper and Surplus SVD marksman and Military G36 assault guns. All of these are made available with the recent update.

Apart from these brand new weapon sets, "Tom Clancy's The Division" Agents can also acquire the so-called The Showstopper. It is basically a new full-automatic shotgun, something that players would really want to have.

The newly arrived "Tom Clancy's The Division" update is around 10.1 GB. Before it was released for the aforementioned console, the studio opted to have the servers go offline for at least three hours in preparation for its arrival.

SportsRageous, on the other hand, reports that the said "Tom Clancy's The Division" update also addresses some known issues. One is the High-Value Target NPC issue in which it was capped at a maximum level of 30. Moreover, it brought relative instability to the game's servers, something that led the players to disconnect from the game.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" DLC titled "Underground" is now available for the  Xbox One and PC, due to a time exclusivity deal between Ubisoft and Microsoft. Whereas, PlayStation 4 owners can expect to receive the content sometime in August.
