Path of Exile 0.9.10 Arriving Next Week

Auckland, New Zealand-based developer and Publisher Grinding Gear Games has revealed that their upcoming online Action RPG “Path of Exile” is set to arrive in a new beta version, 0.9.10, and is slated for a release next week.

The new beta version will feature at least five new player-designed unique items, increased difficulty by adjusting monster damage and pack sizes, item comparison by pressing the Alt key while hovering over the item, short-duration timed loot allocation, and the capability to make your party public by giving it a name on the party screen.

Although it is expected that Grinding Gear will deploy 0.9.10 late next week, the release date might change if other big features are ready in time and can be included. Moreover, the next update (0.9.11) will most probably contain the Act Two Boss and their new end-game.

Lastly, the company will also announce a more realistic date for the start of Open Beta in the coming days, and unfortunately it is very likely that the release date will not be in June, according to a DSOGaming report.

“Path of Exile” is set in a dark fantasy world and the player starts the game when he wakes up on the shores of Wraeclast, an isolated continent that serves as a colony for criminals and other unwanted individuals.

However, regardless of the reasons for his exile, the player must now face the merciless wilderness with its treacherous inhabitants and band together with other outcasts to survive.
