Will The 'Game Of Thrones' Season 6 Storyline Be Better Than George R.R. Martin's 'The Winds Of Winter' Book Version?

'Game of Thrones' season six just aired their season finale last month and even up until now, the events that occurred are still widely talked about today. The show has already exceeded the storyline in the book series and now the creators of the show are working on their own on the storyline.

There have been many speculations about George R.R. Martin's upcoming book, "Winds of Winter" and the storyline that it is going to cover. In the finale of the book series, it ended with Jon Snow's death due to his men's betrayal. There have been questions whether or not Snow's character will still be alive in the sixth book. However, it has already been answered due to the sixth season of 'Game of Thrones' where he did come back to life, as reported by Parent Herald. This then confirms that his character is still present in the "Winds of Winter" book.

In the 'Game of Thrones' series, there were two battles of Winterfell. However, the book 'Winds of Winter' will reportedly only tackle one. When it comes to the storyline of Sansa, her story has developed way differently from the one in the books series. Theoretically, she will soon be leading the Knights of the Vale. In the TV series, Dorne is becoming an ally of the Daenerys, however in the upcoming book; he will allegedly be teaming up with an entirely different dragon. According to Yibada, the 'Winds of Winter' will allegedly focus on Cersei since she will be facing a new challenge and will need to defeat the new King of the North.

There is no way to tell if the upcoming 'Winds of Winter' will be better than the storyline made by the creators of the show. According to Vulture, 'Winds of Winter' will most likely end in the same way the series did in their sixth season finale, wherein Daenarys will be sailing towards the Seven Kingdoms.

The seventh season premiere of 'Game of Thrones' will allegedly be delayed. However, it will still be premiered in 2017, but at a later date than usual.
