Moto Z Smartphone Offers Bendgate Protection And Other Exciting Features: In-Depth Review

The Moto Z will have a bendgate protection. The upcoming Motorola smartphone is expected to be launched this September with new and exciting features.

The Moto Z has a slim body with dimensions measuring approximately 153 x 75 x 5 mm. It is also quite light weighing only 136 grams. The upcoming smartphone has a 5.5 inch touch screen AMOLED display that features 16M colors. Its 1440 x 2560p screen resolution is protected by a type 4 Corning Gorilla Glass.

The hardware specs of the Moto Z include the Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm. The CPU is powered by Quad-core Kryo running at 2x2.15/2.16) GHz. An Adreno 530 is installed as the phone's GPU.

The upcoming Moto Z has microSD storage with a maximum capacity of 256 GB. The smartphone can come out with either a 32 or 64 GB internal storage. RAM capacity is 4 GB.

The Motorola smartphone has two front and rear cameras. The rear one has 13 MP that comes with features such as autofocus function, optical image stabilization (OIS) and dual LED flash. The front camera has 5 MP that features 1080p resolution and LED flash. Video has HDR quality that can display 1080 pixels running at 60 fps. At 30 fps however, screen resolution runs better at 2160 pixels.

Like the upcoming iPhone 7, the Moto Z no longer has the 3.5 mm headphone jack. The upcoming smartphone will instead include a 3.5 mm to USB-c headphone adapter. Fortunately the Moto Z is already equipped with the USB Type C port.

The Moto Z has could connect online via Wi-Fi and comes equipped with Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and an FM radio. The upcoming also includes accelerometer, compass, fingerprint, gyro and proximity sensors.

The battery is made of Lithium-Ion with a 2600 mAh capacity and non-removable. Battery life is expected to last up to 53 hours.
