We are all going to miss someone in this year's VMA. It has been reported that Taylor Swift is not attending the VMA 2016. Is it because of her feud with Kanye West?

Sources close to Taylor Swift revealed that the multi-awarded singer was not scheduled to attend the VMA this year. People reported that Swift confirms this. There are a number of reasons why Swift chose to skip the VMA this year.

First, she's not nominated in any category. Last year, Taylor Swift won the video of the year award for her controversial song "Bad Blood." Aside from that, Swift and Nicki Minaj performed together in a surprise number that put that infamous Twitter feud to rest. She also made another history back in 2015 when she presented the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award to Kanye West. It seems the two bury the hatchet - or so we thought.

A few months back, Taylor Swift and Kanye West is at each other's throat again when Kanye used Swift's name in one of his songs. Swift denied that he allowed Kanye to use "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous." Kanye insisted that he asked for permission before using it. Kim Kardashian put everything to rest when she released a video where Kanye is talking to Taylor getting permission and Taylor candidly agreeing. Taylor got burned.

TMZ reported that Kim Kardashian is a presenter at this year's VMA and Kanye is getting four minutes to do what he pleases. Maybe it is wise for Taylor Swift to not attend VMA 2016.

The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards is going to air live this Sunday, August 28, 2016 from Madison Square Garden at 9PM ET only at MTV.
