Change is definitely coming to "Arrow" Season 5. There are a lot of new faces in Star City that is going to cross path with Oliver Queen and his alter-ego Green Arrow.

A new villain, Prometheus, is roaming around Queen's beloved city. According to Wikia, Prometheus is described as "collateral damage" blaming the Green Arrow for losing someone very important to him. He spent years training and plotting his revenge. His character will make Oliver Queen question himself and his agenda as Prometheus will be his "true dark mirror."

Creators of the show promised that Arrow Season 5 will finally clear Oliver Queen's Russian connection. It will explain through flashbacks speculated to be in Russia why he knows how to speak the country's language and why did Oliver Queen joined the Russian Bratva

Entertainment also reported that Dolph Lundgren will play the role of a Russian named Kovar.  Tyler Ritter will play the role of Detective Malone, who will follow in the footsteps of Captain Lance from the previous seasons of the show. John Segarra is going to play the role of Vigilante/Adrian Chase in Arrow Season 5 who is the new district attorney and a known ally of Mayor Oliver Queen. Carly Pope is playing the role of Susan Williams, a reporter from Coast City who wants to get the story of the year by digging into the life of Mayor Oliver Queen. Rick Gonzales is joining the pack of vigilantes working with the Green Arrow as Wild Dog/Rene Ramirez while Chad L. Coleman will play the role of villain Tobias Church.

Thea (Willa Holland) is back for "Arrow" Season 5 as Oliver Queen's chief of staff while Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) has a new love interest this season but she's still going to be on Team Arrow.

With new plots and twists "Arrow" Season 5 is something to look forward to. Watch it on The CW, October 5 at 8/7c.
