‘Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time’ Manga Series To Return This November

"Legend of Zelda" fans are in for a treat as popular publisher Viz Media announced that "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" is getting a completely new Manga relaunch. They plan to release the fan favorite story later this November.

The Nintendo N64 title is considered one of the best video games of all time and continues to be popular among video game circles especially with a new game coming up. The original manga for "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" was released in 1998 as an adaptation of the wildly successful game. It kick-started the entire "Legend of Zelda" stories which spanned over ten volumes.

The new manga will be written by Akira Himekawa, who is also the one who penned the original. Manga aficionados might recognize Akira Himekawa as the pen name of two separate women who remain anonymous up to this day. The comic book would also feature brand new artwork and will be printed in a much larger format.

And the news for manga fans just keeps getting better as Forbes reported that this will be a reboot of the entire Manga series which they will condense in 5 books called the "Legendary Edition". According to Geek the next four books will tackle the following stories:

  •  "Majora's Mask"
  •  "Oracle of Seasons"
  •  "Oracle of Ages"
  •  "Four Swords"
  •  "The Minish Cap"
  •  "A Link to the Past"
  •  "Phantom Hourglass"

Collectors of manga comics and video game lovers alike will be glad to know that besides being beautifully bound and condensed into a more convenient package. The new "Legendary Edition" is also on sale at a very affordable price. You can start your pre-orders of this manga at stores like Amazon.
