The Elder Scrolls 6: What We Know So Far

Yes, The Elder Scrolls 6 hype continues. Heck, it even snowballs as each day passes by. But really, when will Bethesda unleash it? If the highly anticipated game becomes a reality, what features will it offer? Indeed, these are among the many questions fans have been hoping to find answers to. Well, for now, here's everything we know about the upcoming installment.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date

As previously reported here at iTech Post, Bethesda is not looking to release The Elder Scrolls 6 anytime soon. Or perhaps, for the next two years. The studio is set to work on at least two projects before shifting their focus on the said title. And for those who hope to see it in any upcoming gaming events -- Gamescom in particular -- it won't be happening. The company's very own Pete Hines was the one who shed the light, addressing the longstanding rumors about the game's appearance.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Is Heavily Inspired By The Dark Souls Franchise

Little has been known about The Elder Scrolls 6, particularly its gameplay. However, as what Ecumenical News notes, the developers of the forthcoming title is keen to take ideas from hit role-playing games of today -- the Dark Souls franchise being the epitome. The latter is best known for its puzzling feats and exceptional combat style, among others. Sure enough, these are elements that could perfectly fit in Bethesda's soon to be released project.

No VR Support For The Elder Scrolls 6

Contrary to popular belief, The Elder Scrolls 6 won't actually have any VR support of sorts. The company is believed to be veering away from such feature, as the technology might not be a favorite in the next few years to come. Heck, it even remains a mystery if virtual reality will be around long enough for the game to exist.
