'Final Fantasy XV' Gameplay Footage Released By Square Enix At PAX West

Square Enix showcases a spanking brand new minute gameplay video of Final Fantasy XV (FFXV), around an hour or less, during its PAX West panel. The company showed off a side mission and a mini-game with your favorite, Chocobo! While fans were unhappy with Final Fantasy 15's delayed release date to Nov. 29, the development on the RPG is doing quite well based on its recent presentation at the PAX West 2016, as reported by GameRant.

The footage begins when Noctis and his crew were driving around in the Regalia, and director Hajime Tabata reports that the driving mechanics have been improved in the current build, like players have greater control when driving.

A side quest, out of 200, was also showcased. Here the player enters into a mine shaft, then engage in combat against random monsters like Goblins. These Goblins have been reportedly updated so that they are more challenging and can now take away potions from players, this is on top of the game's breathtaking visuals.

Video footage is now available on YouTube, you can skip to the action beginning at 22:00.

Chocobo racing mini-game

After the mine shaft side-quest, the demo then takes you to a Chocobo racing mini-game in Final Fantasy XV. This gives players the option to race against other characters or just enjoy some classic Chocobo hoop juping.

The last 15 minutes or so of the FFXV demo, which was most interesting, featured a brand-new gameplay footage where Noctis and team infiltrate an enemy Niflheim base.

The demo then proceeds to a battle against Final Fantasy XV's enemy - Aranea Highwind, where the footage was cut mid-battle to keep the fans on the edge of their seats.

Final Fantasy XV is scheduled for release on Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One. Are you excited about Final Fantasy XV? Let us know by hitting the comment section below.
