‘The Winds of Winter’ Updates: George R.R. Martin’s Sixth Novel Might Be Available Sooner Than Its Release Date

George R. R. Martin’s “The Winds of Winter” is highly anticipated by fans all over the globe and to bite the reality of the self – confessed slow writer would equate utmost patience and extended excitement. It would be a beautiful surprise if the sixth installment in the phenomenal fantasy series “A Song of Ice and Fire” hits our nearest bookstore earlier than expected, right?

“The Winds of Winter” Available For Pre-Order
Amazon France offers a special page to cater for pre-orders of “The Winds of Winter.” More interestingly, the page listed March 9, 2017 as the release date of the much awaited novel.

Winter is Coming reminds elated book buyers that Amazon creates pages for forthcoming expected releases on a regular basis, even when no official announcement is made. Also, Amazon is known to mark placeholder dates on those pages, which have no basis.

Release Date Of Novel Is Coming Soon
Adding fuel to the fire is BryndenBFish’ post on Tweeter about a Reddit user Bumfyre who leaked a potential International Standard Book Number (ISBN) for "The Winds Of Winter" associated with Penguin Random House.

Yes, ISBN registration is a major clue that the novel is in progress. However, it does not suggest that the book will be up for release soon.

We just had our jump of high hopes huh. Because we are more than hungry and overjoyed that any major hint on the availability of the novel laid on our plate, we will bite it right away.

Of course, let’s wait for the author himself, George R.R. Martin to make his official announcement on the final release date of “The Winds of Winter.”

In his entry on Not A Blog, Martin provided an update that the work is still in progress.

“But it's been a while, so I thought I should at least say hi, and wave, and let everyone know that I'm still here, back at the old homestead and back at work.”
