EXO took their performance to a new level with a collaboration with a special guest on their EXO World Tour concert in Bangkok. It's no other than Korea's national MC and dance machine, Yoo Jae Sook.
The remaining 10 members of Korea's and popular boy band EXO had a successful collaboration with Yoo Jae Sook on their first 'EXO'rDIUM' performance, which is a part of a penalty that Yoo Jae Sook had to fulfill from the Korean variety show "Infinite Challenge."
Yoo Jae Sook joined EXO and took the stage with a blast on September 10 and 11. The phenomenal team-up was well-received that Yoo Jae Sook trended worldwide on Twitter moments after the performance. Yoo Jae Sook's nickname "God Yoo" also trended in Korea.
Yoo Jae Sook has been practicing very hard for the collaboration since August. "Infinite Challenge" PD Kim Tae Ho also said Yoo Jae Sook met with EXO to "practice when their schedule allows it," Soompi reported. Fans have also seen Yoo Jae Sook entering SM entertainment earlier this month, which further made everyone excited about the unexpected collaboration.
Yoo Jae Sook is a very recognized figure in Korean variety shows and comedy, with a large fanbase not only in Korea but also in other parts of the world. He is also tagged as "dance machine" in Korean variety show "Running Man," where he serves as the main MC.
The quest started on an "Infinite Challenge" episode titled "Lucky Letter." Cast members were asked by the production to write letters to their fellow members which contained wishes that they wanted to fulfill, and Hwang Kwang Hee wrote he want to see Yoo Jae Sook to perform with EXO.
Behind the scenes of Yoo Jae Sook and EXO's journey on the collaboration will be shown in next week's (September 17) episode of "Infinite Challenge" as shown in the preview.
