Star Wars: Battlefront Bespin DLC - Free Play For One Week

Star Wars: Battlefront Bespin DLC can be played for free for at least a week. Game developer EA DICE will allow players to play the DLC starting September 12 to 18.

Star Wars: Battlefront Bespin DLC

The Star Wars: Battlefront Bespin DLC was released last June 2016. The expansion included new characters namely, Lando Calrissian and the villainous Corellian bounty hunter Dengar. The DLC also included cloud city maps, a new transport, weapons, cards and the Sabotage mode.

This is the second time that EA DICE held a free play period for the Bespin DLC, according to Gamespot. The first promo was held last July. After the free play week, players who want to own the DLC can buy it for $15. Those who bought the $50 Battlefront season pass also have this DLC. Bespin DLC owners will have permanent access to Bespin's weapons.

Other Star Wars: Battlefront DLC

The first Star Wars: Battlefront expansion was the Outer Rim which was released last March and also had a free play last May. The third upcoming DLC is the Death Star which features two new playable characters, Chewbacca and another bounty hunter, Bossk. The Death Star expansion is expected to come out any time this September.

The fourth DLC is Rogue One: Scarif and expected to be released during the holidays. It will of course feature the Scarif's landscape. Playable characters for the fourth Star Wars: Battlefront expansion will include Jyn Erso (played by Felicity Jones) and Imperial Military Director Orson Krennic (played by Ben Mendelsohn). The upcoming Rogue One DLC will also include some behind the scene footages and a poster.

EA DICE has approximately sold more than 14 million physical and digital versions of Star Wars: Battlefront. DICE and Motive Studios have team up to develop a second installment of the game.
