On Tuesday, it was revealed that Dead Ghosts were added to all maps of Destiny. The map can assist players of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in finding the Dead Ghosts, and eventually adding them to the Grimoire score. According to Inquisitr, the Crucible menu on the Destiny game contains the Dead Ghosts option. First, the player must choose the new Private Matches option, and then the "Game Options" must be selected to make changes with the map as well as the other settings for each match.

According to Game Rant, the Sector 618 map is only exclusive to PlayStation. There are a total of 27 Dead Ghosts:

• Anomaly, players have to go to the C Control Point behind the boxes.
• Asylum, it is located in the same room as the C Control Point, in the clump of grass.
• Bannerfall is in the room between the C Control Point.
• Bastion is near the C Control Point spawn; it is sitting on top of the rocks.
• Black Shield is in the corner in between Control Points B and C.
• Blindwatch is in the little alcove behind the Heavy Ammo Spawn.
• The Burning Shrine is behind the blocks outside the edge of the map.
• Cathedral of Dusk can be found in the area where the Special Ammo spawns.
• Cauldron is at the bottom floor of the central room.
• Crossroads is laying near the portal in the floating island.
• The Drifter is at the stairs to the left in the Heavy Ammo Spawn.
• The Dungeons is on the orange side of the room where the Heavy Ammo Spawn is found.
• Exodus Blue is at the empty room on the back of the map next to A spawn.
• Firebase Delphi is found on the back room past the C side Heavy Weapon Spawn.
• First Light is sitting next to the pillar and several crates on the broken bridge in front of Control Point C.
• Frontier is found on some bushes next to Heavy Ammo spawn in Control Point C.
• Memento is located at the lower middle hallway connecting the middle fighting late and the open fighting spot.
• Pantheon sits on the edge of broken stairs that leads to a cliff past Control A at the back
• Rusted Lands is on the Special Ammo spawn up the hill from Control Point B. It is found on the other side of the wall.
• Sector 618 just sits on the platform in the middle of the map right next to the Fallen barrier.
• Shores of Time located on the crates outside the tunnel connecting A flag side and the open segment outside of the B flag.
• Skyshock is found on the left side of the tail of the broken plane.
• Thieves' Den is found right next to Control point A mixed with several gold.
• The Timekeeper is on the pool of water in flag A to the left of the narrow broken wall.
• Twilight Gap sits on the crates in the middle room between A and C spawn points.
• Vertigo is located when you start at B flag facing the teleporter. Then, make a hard right at the bottom stairs then walk on the corner.
• Widow's Court is in the left corner of the upper platform from C flag to the right side towards the broken stairs heading A flag.
