Brangelina Divorce Update: Brad Pitt Accused Of Alleged 'Verbal' And 'Physical' Abuse Towards His Child In Plane Incident

Not long after the news that his wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce to end their marriage of two years and relationship of 12 years, Brad Pitt is making another headline for allegedly inflicting verbal and physical abuse on his and Jolie's kids in a recent incident.

Several media outlets reported Thursday that the investigation over the alleged child abuse already started. According to USA Today, the allegations came a few days after the confirmation of Jolie's filing for divorce on Monday. The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services are reportedly spearheading the investigation.

According to initial reports by entertainment sites People and TMZ, the couple, who share six children together, (Maddox, 15; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8) have had an unfortunate situation during a trip on a private jet plane they owned. Pitt was said to have shown a temper towards one of their kids which led to verbal and possibly also some physical abuse. The incident was allegedly witnessed by Jolie and some of their kids.

People stated that the "World War Z" star most likely has alcohol to blame for what happened. This report may be linked to previous reports claiming that one of Jolie's reasons for calling it quits with the actor was the latter's substance abuse and unruly behavior with the way he has been treating their children. The 41-year old actress was said to have brought up their difference in parenting skills and styles.

The couple have reportedly parted their ways after the plane incident. Brad spent the night in a hotel which he usually does after getting into fights with his wife, reports say. Jolie, however, would get the kids and go home to their LA mansion.

A source close to the father of six tipped People that Brad is taking the case seriously and is standing firm in denying the whole incident. The source defended the actor and said, "He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children," wrote People.
