'Attack On Titan' Season 2 Spoilers, News And Updates: Dr. Yeager's Locked Basement To Be Revealed In Episode 1? Series Confirmed Release For Spring 2017?

Fans of the highly anticipated series "Attack On Titan" Season 2 might be getting some good news as reports revealed a possible plot for episode 1 which is closely connected to the manga series.

"Attack On Titan" Season 2 Episode 1 is expected to kick off with Dr. Yeager's locked basement. It can be recalled that in the first season, Eren has been keen on exploring the said basement since his father, Dr. Yeager, cryptically revealed that it holds the truth behind the titans.

There have been reports claiming that "Attack On Titan" Season 2 will most likely cover Dr. Yeager's basement in episode 1 since its existence and contents are highly pivotal to the story. If the claims are true, fans will finally get to see what's inside the basement, just like what transpired in the manga version.

Take note that there will be major spoilers after this point.

In "Attack On Titan" Chapter 85, Dr. Yeager's basement was finally explored by Eren and the remnants of the Survey Corps. The basement looks like a typical doctor's office at first glance. However, they find a keyhole that matches Eren's key in the desk that reveals a hidden compartment. Inside are journals written by Dr. Yeager.

Although the contents of the said journals remain to be a mystery, Eren was able to discover a photograph inside.

What makes it unusual is the fact that they're not supposed to have those in the "Attack On Titan" world since they don't have that kind of technology yet. Does this mean Dr. Yeager did come from a community far more advanced and civilized? Does this mean everything Eren and his friends knew about their world is a lie?

Meanwhile, "Attack On Titan" Season 2 has been reported to release in spring of 2017. If everything goes smoothly, fans can expect the return of Eren and the gang by March to April next year.
