Microsoft All-In-One Surface PC Rumors: Evidence Of Ergonomic Keyboard Found

The Microsoft Surface line is undoubtedly expanding. While there has been no shortage of news about the upcoming Surface Book 2 and the Surface Phone, these releases are apparently not the only items on the tech giant's plan. In fact, new evidence points to an upcoming release for an all-in-one Surface Desktop.

Microsoft Surface PC And Ergonomic Keyboards

According to PC World, a listing was recently found for the Surface Ergonomic Keyboard. Because of the standard size and shape of an ergonomic keyboard - that is, large and specialized, like a split and curved design - the new item is expected to fit in perfectly with the Surface PC.

Other than its name and the fact that it will connect via Bluetooth v4.2, there is not much else known about the keyboard.

While this is definitely not confirmation that a desktop will be added to the Surface line, it does make it a possibility. There is no doubt that Microsoft sometimes adds accessories to the Surface lineup, but a desktop-made keyboard is definitely a step beyond the company's standard. In fact, in only solidifies the rumor of an AOI desktop, because Microsoft has the tendency to produce product-specific accessories.

Microsoft Surface PC: Size Options

As Pocket Lint notes, the AIO PC may come in three variants that differ in sizes. There will likely be a 21 inch, 24-inch and 27-inch options to choose from. All three variants are expected to come with the same Perceptive Pixel screen technology found in the current Surface Hub.

Microsoft Surface PC: Release Date

Currently, it is estimated that the Microsoft Surface PC will be unveiled at a Microsoft event at the end of the month. Furthermore, the company had a patent published this year for an all-in-one PC. With the year coming to a close, it is only logical that the device is released by October.
