Valve Announced New Custom Skins For Steam Link And Steam Controllers

New custom skin for Steam Link and Steam Controllers is now live in public after Valve announced it recently. It has been reported that these new skins include a variety of Valve properties' logo and color scheme. The video game company is known for its uniqueness in the gaming world while having the desire to embrace innovative business models.

According to PC Gamer, there are 4 available skins intended for the Steam Controller at the moment. Three of those are Counter Strike Global Offensive-themed which includes gray camo, blue camo and blue/orange theme while a blue/white Aperture Laboratories skin completes the lineup. These new skins runs at a price of $10 each. However, they are currently being marked down to $7 until October 10. In addition, players can also add a feel on their Steam Link using any of these three available CSGO skins with the same design options as the controller. The Steam Link themes also run for $10 that are currently marked down to $7.

Based on the reports from Game Rant, aside from the skins, Valve had also released several accessories for the Steam Controllers. These accessories include a wireless receiver, wireless extender, a portable case that fits perfectly on the Steam Controller and a few batteries. They originally runs for $20. However, with the reported weekend sale they can now be purchased for $14.

The two remaining accessories consist of a custom battery door where you can store your wireless receiver. Originally priced for $10 which marked down to $7 and the other one is a replacement or a spare for your wireless receiver for $13 which also marked down to $9. It was suggested that gamers will be needed to decide quickly if they want to save money. With a brand new Steam Store UI and the upcoming Winter Sale just lurking in the horizon, PC gamers will most likely need an extra buck.
