Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is Alive Once Again in This New Trailer

Those who have played the previous Sniper games will be very happy to hear that CI Games will release Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 just a few months from now. The new trailer released tells a lot that Sniper is indeed alive and kicking, soon.

CI Games also announced that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will be far different than the two previous series in a lot of ways. For one, it drifts away from its usual scripted gameplay. But like its predecessors, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is as challenging based on the released trailer at TwitchCon over the weekend.

Based on the Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 trailer, CI looked like it really exerted a lot of effort to earn the game a Triple A title. All the elements of the game is bigger and better in scope. Here, players can really get the feel of what a real sniper is as they run, use stealth, or utilize any equipment they have in their hands to take on their enemy. Unlike the previous Sniper games, the third installment allows players to roam around an open world complete with side missions and a whole lot more.

Thomasz Pruski, the game's senior designer said that this mix and match element is necessary to let the character adapt to its surroundings as the game progresses.

"Even a skilled sniper can miss, the wind may be too strong, and when people converge on your location, you have to shift into warrior to engage or try sneaking away. It's not sitting on a sniper nest and pulling a trigger for 20 minutes," Pruski said.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 takes the role of a retired marine named Jonathan North who was tasked to stop a Cold War that is threatening to happen in Georgia.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is set for release in January 2017 for PlayStation 4, XBox One, and PC.
