Here's How Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Expert Missions Work

Bandai Namco's upcoming sequel Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is only a few days away from its official release. So it's only right for the studio to unleash some marketing stints, as they surely want to keep the hype rolling. True enough, a new trailer was released, giving fans a look-see at how the so-called Expert Missions work. It really looks quite interesting.

According to Gematsu, in the new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 trailer, one of the features of the forthcoming game Expert Missions is featured. It basically explains how players need to deal with their characters being brainwashed by the Great Ape Nappa.

If Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 players can't escape his brainwashing tactics, they have to be fully ready. Why? That's because they have to go up against a mirror image of themselves. And how to make it a bit more interesting and fit? Well, the battle will have to be in a mental arena. As soon as this opponent is taken down, gamers will gain their consciousness back.

If, for instance, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 players' allies get brainwashed, thing will start to become a little bit harder. If they're quick enough, they can help their friends snap out from the brainwashed state. If not, (say it takes them quite too long), this is where they're going to start attacking. Obviously, players will have to defeat them in order to continue their journey.

Also, the new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 video features the Gigantic Ki Blasts and how players can deflect it effectively. In a sense, it really looks epic and technical in one way or another. It's safe to say that Bandai has really gone beyond what is expected.

Overall, it's only right to deem Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as a more involved title compared to its predecessor. Apart from that, it's also interesting to see if it gets to tie in some events in the titular anime titled Dragon Ball Super.

In related Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 news, the title is expected to arrive with a manga version as well as a new gameplay. As for the manga copy, it'll only be available to fans who pre-ordered the game. A new gameplay, on the other hand, was revealed, featuring the mystical Conton City -- a new hub world for players to enjoy and experience.
