How FIFA 17 Effortlessly Pushed its Rival PES 2017 To The Corner

Today has been another year of triumphant success of the FIFA game franchise over its rival, Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer. FIFA has released the latest of its franchise titled FIFA 17 last Sept. 29 and hit global acclaimed from critics and players alike. And now, a lot of people are already comparing how FIFA 17 standout against its rival PES 2017. In this clash of football game giants, there's already a standout victor that emerged from the rubbles of the sales competition.

FIFA 17 Sales is Currently Number One in UK Gaming Charts

Upon the first week of its release, FIFA has already reached groundbreaking success, selling over 1.1 million copies in UK alone. FIFA 17 is now viewed as one of the most successful edition of the FIFA franchise and given its hot momentum, game enthusiasts are expecting it to outsell FIFA 13, its current bestseller that has sold over 14.5 million copies worldwide.

It would seem that EA Sports, the publisher of FIFA, is about to expect a surge of revenues in the years to come.

Comparison between FIFA 17 and PES 2017

A lot of fans and critics have already concluded that this will be the year where PES will outshine its long-time rival FIFA after its latest release of PES 2017 which was received by critics and players with critical accalim and recognitions.

But it turns out that FIFA will still take its spot to be the number one football game in the industry today. The results of last week's sale has pretty much a definitive factor as to who's more successful between the two football game giants.

But the sheer difference between the two has never been pointed out clearly until Daniel Ahmad, an industry analyst and game enthusiast revealed the exact difference today. In his twitter post he said:

This has been a major blow to Konami's executives as, despite its PES 2017 critical acclaim and player satisfaction rating, failed to even get a closer margin with its rival. It is pretty certain that barely reaching 50k sales is less than what a publisher is hoping for with all the great reviews of its game.

Currently FIFA 17 is on sale together with other bundles for Xbox One S and Playstation 4.
