'Fast and Furious' is an American action film series produced by the Universal Studios that centered around illegal street racing. The first ever Fast and Furious that hit the cinemas was released in 2001; 2 years later, the movie's first sequel '2 Fast 2 Furious' was released as well and both were big hits.

'The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift' later on started hitting the cinemas hard in 2006. 'Fast and Furious' was released in 2009 as the movie's third sequel, 'Fast Five' in 2011, 'Fast and Furious 6' in 2013, and the latest sequel 'Furious 7' was released in 2015 and it became the highest-grossing movies of all time earlier this year.

This year, it was confirmed that 'Fast and Furious 8' is going to happen, it will be directed by F. Gary Gray and it will be released on April 14, 2017. Fans are more than excited to know the movie's plots and cast. So far, the confirmed cast that will be re-joining in the film, aside from Vin Diesel are Dwayne Johnson as Hobbs, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham and more.

There are rumors that new characters will also be added and will be played by Scott Eastwood, Cara Delevingne, Ruby Rose, Helen Mirren and the best of all Charlize Therone. Charlize Therone on the other hand is officially confirmed and will be playing a villainous role named Cipher; Krsitofer Hivju mostly known as Tormund fromHBO's Game of Thrones will be joining the casts of the film as well and will also be playing a villainous role together with Cipher.

Speculations suggest that Ronda Rousey and Eva Mendez will also be re-appearing in the movie. Nathalie Emmanuel who played the role of Ramsey and Elsa Pataky as Elena will be definitely in the movie as well.
