The first DLC for Dark Souls 3 is coming this late October and most of the fans are already clamoring for its release following the latest official trailer presented by Bandai Namco, the developer of the game. The downloadable content has a lot of new in-game contents including items, gears, magics and more.

But the real deal comes with the addition of a new and exclusive PvP map in the new Dark Souls 3 DLC which seems to enable players to freely engage other players in a PvP battle. Another aspect of the battleground is a 3v3 arena battle which could be an option aside from a 1v1 duel.

Details regarding the Dark Souls 3 DLC are yet to be revealed and only the trailer video was given to us which means that there could be more in store for the upcoming patch. Aside from PvP, you will notice a new array of spells which you can choose from as well as new gears which I personally think are epic and badass.

Dark Souls 3 PvP Battle Ground

The newest PvP Battleground for Dark Souls 3, reportedly called Hollow Arena, is set in an icy cold mountain where players can utilize slopes and structures in order to avoid the opposing player's skills and magics. Note that in the trailer, you can clearly see that there's somehow a reward or points gained upon defeating your opponents. The reward appears to be a "crown" floating above the player's head which I think will come as a sort of "points" that is needed in order to exchange for the new gears and magics.

Bandai Namco, the publisher of Dark Souls 3, also revealed that the battleground will soon feature one-on-one battles aside from an all-out brawl option, which for me, is one of the biggest updates of the game. It's still unclear though how the new Battleground works or how players will search and engage opposing players.

But everything will be revealed this coming Oct. 25 upon the official launching of the Dark Souls 3 Ashes of Ariandel. What do you think of the game's first DLC? Let me know in the comments section below!
