Lexus Announces NX Sport Variant Of Its SUV

Lexus, a subsidiary of Toyota, is launching an all new NX 300 H Sports SUV as well as other varieties of NX and RX SUVs. The Japanese car maker wants to produce a mini SUV called UX that is different from what the automaker has created before.

Lexus NX 300 H's Features

Lexus just updated the aesthetics of its new NX300 H Sports SUV. The car maker has improved the wheels by adding an 18-inch alloy wheel, spindle grilles with a diamond body and new light-emitting diode (LED) headlights that is the company's signature design, according to its website.

The interiors are now covered with leather upholstery with aluminum linings and heated front seats. Also included are a pre-crash system, a safety system kit and improved adaptive cruise control. It has an 8-inch screen that displays various functions such as climate controls, wipers, autolights, navigation system and DAB Radio, Auto Express reported.

According to Your Single Source Of News, the NX 300H SUV's price varies depending on the chosen package. The original price of the SUV without the package is £33,995 or about $41,00 and the sport edition will be £34,995 or roughly $42,000. There are additional colors, such as Solar Flare and Azure Blue.

The NX 300H has a hybrid engine with four inline cylinders. It is automatic transmission and has front wheel driving, according to Edmunds. The Premier Pack will have a heated steering wheel to accompany the heated front seats.The last feature is a sound system that has 14 speakers that can provide good quality music.

After creating an electric vehicle from cardboard, Lexus is broadening its horizons by deciding on changing its traditional designs in order to compete and to comply with the fast changing trend on automobiles. The Japanese car maker wants a new concept for its cars.

Lexus is planning to launch a mini SUV next year. The Japanese car maker teased a photo even before the Paris Auto Show. The five-door mini SUV is set to join the Australian line up next year. Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda said that the company is aiming to create cars that have futuristic and edgy design. The traditional Lexus Concept (LC) is not incorporated on the new UX mini SUV because of the new image the company wants to create, in a report on Cars Guide.
