It has been 16 months since Apple has updated the laptop's previous model with Force Touch Trackpad feature and improved battery life and display. But, this year's new model is expected to bring more new and advanced features for the consumers.

According to a report from BGR, Apple is going to launch their latest product and device this month. This inclination is usually made so that their new devices will surely be available in stores worldwide before the holiday season.

Twitter user Zee M. Kane received an email from a San Francisco-based MacBook sleeve maker called Waterfield, which is already offering accessories for Apple's yet to be announced MacBooks.

Although the news was not yet confirmed, MacWorld states that Apple might be launching the latest MacBook Pro this upcoming October 27, 2016. Apple is also expected to launch other products like the MacBook Air 2016 in the said event.

The MacBook 2016

The 2016 MacBook Pro will be thinner compared to the previous version. It will also be lighter than its predecessors, and it'll feature a secondary OLED touch screen display that will replace the keyboard's first row and show context-aware shortcuts. There might also be new shortcut keys that will be added for the user's frequently used applications for easy access.

It's possible that a gold model will be launched, but Apple might reserve that for the 12in MacBook, which got new color options in another month. eTechRadar reports that the MacBook Pro will get a new hinge design, and claims this will be created by Amphenol.
