‘Grimm' Season 6 Spoilers, News And Updates: Will This Season Be The Last?

There are rumors that "Grimm'" Season 6 will be the last of the TV series. This has been hinted in the past when an announcement was made saying that the current season will only have 13 episodes. This is a far cry from the 5th season which consisted of 22 episodes.

Is This The Red Flag?

The smaller order of 13 episodes for "Grimm" Season 6 should have been regarded by fans of as a red flag. It served as a warning to everyone of what's in store for the show. Even then, avid fans are heartbroken. The fate of the show was made even certain by the announcement made recently by NBC officials.

But That Doesn't Mean Season 6 Is Not Worth Watching

Even with the seeming certainty of its closure, it doesn't mean that "Grimm" Season 6 is not worth watching. There was a previous report which suggested that Renard's character will get worse in the forthcoming season. He is regarded as a formidable opponent to Nicholas "Nick" Burkhard, the hero of the series.

But some believe that Renard will eventually change, after all, he is a favorite among the fans, and he has a very complex character. Given that, the show will have a new face once the latest season starts. Chris McKenna will appear as Lt. Grossante, at least for one episode on this final season.

Sad Announcement Made By NBC

The NBC announcement that shocked the fans was made on Aug. 30. When the plan for the sixth chapter only included 13 episodes, it revealed the weak position of the show. The premiere of the last season is scheduled on Jan. 6, 2017. It will be the last time Nick will fight against the now more powerful mayor-elect, Renard. Avid fans should not miss even one episode of "Grimm" Season 6.
