PlayStation All-Stars – Official List of Characters Revealed

"PlayStation All-Stars," the upcoming crossover fighting title from Sony and SuperBot Entertainment has now received an entire official list of characters that are slated to feature in the game. The new information has arrived after the game faced a tough time, courtesy previous leaks and the PR debacle.

Although it is important to note that this list incorporates just the starting line-up, more characters will be included as soon as the game arrives via DLC. The title's gameplay is (conceptually) similar to the "Super Smash Bros." series, where up to four players can battle each other using characters from various Sony franchises such as "God of War," "PaRappa the Rapper", and "Sly Cooper," along with third-party franchises like BioShock.

Players in the "PlayStation All-Stars" will compete for orbs that can be received when damage is inflicted on opponents. These orbs will then build up a power meter at the bottom of the screen, and also provide gamers access to use one of three levels of super moves which can be used to defeat opponents and earn further points.

The official list of characters for "PlayStation All-Stars" is as follows:

1. Big Daddy (from BioShock)

2. Cole MacGrath (from inFamous)

3. Evil Cole MacGrath (from inFamous)

4. Colonel Radec (from Killzone 2)

5. Dante (from Devil May Cry)

6. Fat Princess (from Fat Princess)

7. Heihachi Mishima (from Tekken)

8. Jak and Daxter (from Jak and Daxter)

9. Kratos (from God of War)

10. Nariko (from Heavenly Sword)

11. Nathan Drake (from Uncharted)

12. PaRappa the Rapper (from PaRappa the Rapper)

13. Raiden (from the Metal Gear sagas)

14. Ratchet and Clank (from Ratchet and Clank)

15. Sackboy (from LittleBigPlanet)

16. Sir Daniel Fortesque (from MediEvil)

17. Sly Cooper (from Sly Cooper)

18. Spike (from Ape Escape)

19. Sweet Tooth (from Twisted Metal)

20. Toro (from Together Everywhere!)

Various PlayStation titles inspire the "All-Stars" arenas and the game features cross-platform play between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions. The game also comes with a host of items and levels influenced by various PlayStation franchises. As of now, fourteen stages have been confirmed, with each based on a combination of two games.

The game is currently set for a November release on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
