‘Iron Fist' Season 1 Spoilers, News And Updates: Jeri Hogarth Signs Up For Key Role, Latest Netflix Trailer Packs A Punch

Scott Buck, the creator and producer of "Iron Fist" Season 1 has recently disclosed that Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss) will play an important role in the life of Danny Rand (Finn Jones) in the series. "She has an extremely important role in Danny's life," said Buck at the New York Comic-con. Buck also said that she is intricately involved in the story.

The Two Have Different Approaches

The two characters of the story look at life very differently, said Jeph Leob, Marvel TV head. "Danny has very much a hopeful optimism about him, and Carrie-Anne obviously lives in a different kind of world, and so being able to see those two worlds collide is just the beginning of the many obstacles that he goes through," he explained.

The Marvel TV executive also suggested that there will be "metaphorical fights" between Hogarth and Rand. A report from Screen Rant indicated that Rand may find Hogarth's pragmatic and cutthroat approach too much for his optimistic nature. Clashes between these two significantly divergent viewpoints will make these series exciting to watch.

Randy Fights Crime With A Fiery Iron Fist

The story of the "Iron Fist" Season 1 is about Danny Rand, a billionaire who upon returning to New York after missing for several years finds his city overcome by criminals. He is determined to get rid of these scalawags. These thugs and thieves are in for a rude awakening as Rand is able to summon the mighty power of the Iron Fist to accomplish his mission.

"Iron Fist" Season 1 is actually the fourth of four major live-action adventure series produced by Marvel. The first three are "Luke Cage," "Jessica Jones," and "Daredevil." These three are all currently running on Netflix. Eventually, the creators of the four series will have the four characters teaming up for Marvel's "The Defenders."
