Weeks after the unfortunate Kim Kardashian robbery in Paris, a security footage was revealed and showed the perpetrators going to and fleeing from the scene of the crime.
Kim Kardashian's robbery heist shocked the world when it happened weeks and until now it remains unsolved. Leads from the case seem bleak and Kim Kardashian is still nowhere to be seen. Then just recently, a security footage of the robbers surfaced.
TMZ released the security footage, which was clearly a CCTV from a nearby building. The grayscaled video caught five men heading towards Kim's luxurious apartment. Three men were riding bicycles while the other two were on foot, all stealthily trying to conceal themselves from the public streets with hooded jackets. After a while, same five men came back clearly in a hurry and running back to the direction they came from. Two men on foot again and the other three on bicycles again, with the last cyclist, quickly fleeing with a bag hanging on his bicycle handle, which is assumed to be the bag full of jewelry, wallets, and mobile phones.
The CCTV footage of the robbery apparently proves that the robbery did take place and the descriptions taken from accounts of who was able to witness the criminals fleeing fit the scenes shown in the video. French police Brigade de Repression du Banditisme (BRB), who is leading this investigation said that they will be investigating the "Pink Panthers". According to CBS, the "Pink Panthers" are the biggest and most successful circle of jewelry thieves in the world, crediting the group with $500 million worth of stolen goods with a record of 370 thefts and robberies.
Meanwhile, the world has yet to hear from celebrity socialite Kim Kardashian. Her mother, Kris Jenner, has disclosed that Kim is currently staying in her Bel-Air family home and it seems like Kim does not want to go on with her old ways, reflecting on her life. Her sister, Khloe Kardashian has admitted that they have not talked about the incident since the robbery. Kim was so traumatized by the event that her family has given her space and will just wait for her to eventually open up.
