"Dance Moms" season 7 filming is underway despite rumors that the reality show will be canceled due to Abby Lee Miller's scheduled sentencing in November. The absence of Jojo Siwa also brought another wave of cancelation rumors but based on latest reports, filming is in full swing and the Abby Lee Dance Company is on its seventh episode.

"Dance Moms" Season 7 Spoilers

Despite rumors that Miller's dancing show "Dance Moms" is up for cancelation pending her trial in November, filming for season 7 is underway. Miller has been active in sharing season 7 spoilers on her Instagram account. The latest update was a video of the contestants during their performance at the Sheer Talent Competition in Fresno, California where the group performed "Good Help Is Hard To Find."

The group performance won first place in the teen category and was named as the overall champion for the competition. In the teen division, the jazz duet "Snap That" by Brynn Ashlee Rumfallo and Camryn Bridges placed first while Kendall Vertes and Kalani Hilliker's specialty duet "Tango Para Tres" placed second. Elliana Walmsley and Maesi Caes' acrobatic duet "The Invaders" placed second in the junior division.

Abby Lee Miller's Scheduled Court Date

Back in June, Miller pleaded guilty to charges involving unreported monetary transactions and hiding bankruptcy assets. Based on reports, the dance coach could face imprisonment of up to 30 months and fines amounting to $5 million. Back in September, Lesley Brander, Nia Sioux's manager, commented that although the filming for the new season has started, the rest remains to be a complete "mystery."

As of writing, filming for seven episodes for "Dance Moms" season 7 has been completed. From season 2 to 6, "Dance Moms" featured at least 30 episodes and it is quite unclear what would happen to the show if Miller needs to serve jail time. Should the network decide to push through with the seventh installment of the hit dancing show, it would be aired in 2017.

At the moment, Lifetime is airing "Dance Moms" season 6 every Tuesday at 9 p.m. EDT.
