After an explosive "The Walking Dead" season premiere, fans will be treated to a much softer episode 2 as spoilers point out to the debut of King Ezekiel.

Things are starting to look a little rosier for Rick and his crew as comic book favorite King Ezekiel will aid Rick in his struggle against Negan. Ezekiel, who shares an intense disdain with Rick towards Negan, looks ready to team up with Rick and take the fight to the popular "Walking Dead" baddie.

Fans will also get a good look at "The Kingdom," a ragtag group of survivors with Ezekiel at the helm. This could culminate in an all out battle between "The Kingdom" and Negan's "Sanctuary."

As things are starting to look up for good old Rick with his dealings with Negan there is a rumor that his love life will be taking a complicated turn. In the original comic book where the show is based, King Ezekiel is known to have taken a fancy towards Michionne. So will this be one of the things that season 7 of the "Walking Dead" would be tackling? A love triangle between Rick, Michionne, and King Ezekiel would certainly provide great TV.

Fans are already excited at the prospect of Rick and Michionne's budding romance. And putting a wedge in the form of King Ezekiel would be right up The Walking Dead's" alley. After that brutal first episode where two favorites were killed in a very gruesome manner, a little love triangle between the lead character is definitely just a little salt in the wound.
