The highly anticipated return of “Vikings” season 4 will see bloody battles and the return of the prominent character Ragnar Lothbrok. It is sad though to finally witness the legendary king’s comeback only to feature his downfall.

Rumors have it that Ragnar will be killed and his sons will avenge for his tragic death through powerful clashes against their enemies.

Will Ragnar & Lagertha Give Their Love A Second Chance?
A report noted that the remaining episodes of “Vikings" season 4 will highlight Ragnar being stripped of his honor and kingdom as Queen Aslaug’s (Alyssa Sutherland) replaced him. Aslaug had sacrificed enough in the past to put Ragnar on the throne and she will do everything in her power to ensure that her sons will take the kingdom in their hands.

In addition, Ragnar’s ex-wife Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) will also fight for what is due to her and son Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig). Her relevant journey with Ragnar will also be recalled including the abuse and betrayal that she had to endure. As she fights for her rights, will Ragnar realize that Lagertha is indeed the right woman for him?

‘Vikings’ Season 5 Will See Lagertha’s Female Love Interest
A new character will join the adventures of the popular historical drama in the role of Astrid (Josefin Asplund). A source noted that she will become Lagertha's female love interest.  With Lagertha's failed relationships with men, she always ends up in sorrow and pain. These heartbreaks will likely lead her to venture a new relationship with the same sex.

How will Astrid and Lagertha’s paths cross? Will Ragnar stand in the way to hinder the forbidding relationship of the two women?
