GTA 6 is probably among the titles that fans have been hoping for Rockstar Games to announce or release. Unfortunately, it seems to be far from reality, especially with recent reveal of Red Dead Redemption 2. Nonetheless, people are still speculating that it'll eventually happen. In one way or another, it's quite likely to be delayed; however, in terms of getting cancelled, it's impossible.
According to Neurogadget, GTA 6 is most likely delayed -- at least, in terms of development. But, somehow, it's very unlikely to Rockstar to cancel it. Well, this is for the main reason that the franchise is a big player in the market. The studio is earning buckets of cash thanks to its popularity.
Nonetheless, there's somehow truth to reports about GTA 6 getting delayed. One possible reason is the fact that the video game company just announced the upcoming arrival of Red Dead Redemption 2 -- a sequel that fans have been desiring for. So, in a sense, this might affect any developments pertaining to the GTA title, as the video game company might put all of its focus on the aforesaid title first.
As previously reported here at iTech Post, another factor that could affect the very existence of GTA 6 is the budget it'll require. And based on rumors, it's set to equip a VR feature, adding to the required resources that the devs must come up with. But obviously, with a studio as big as Rockstar, it seems budget isn't really an issue.
Among the features coming to GTA 6 are monster trucks. Also, most of these vehicles will be given performance increase, though it'll be in accordance to the technological aspect of things. Moreover, the protagonists of the game are believed to be able to purchase clothes from various shops in the map. Heck, players are even said to have the capability to buy more houses.
The sad thing, however, is that all of these GTA 6 features are yet to be confirmed. None of the people from Rockstar have given out any official word, shedding some light to the ever-growing speculations. In fact, the game's release date remains unclear.
